Technical Details and Performance Enhancements

Engine and Power

The engine of  the 2024 Triumph Tiger 900 is significantly upgraded. It now boasts a 13% increase in power, producing 108PS, up from the previous 95PS. This enhancement is coupled with a peak torque of 90Nm. The engine’s revised components not only contribute to this increased power but also improve tractability at lower RPMs. This is crucial for a smoother ride, whether cruising on highways or navigating rugged terrains.

Fuel Efficiency

Alongside power, efficiency is paramount. The new Tiger 900 shows a remarkable 9% improvement in fuel economy. This leap in efficiency means longer rides with fewer stops, a key advantage for adventure motorcyclists.

Suspension System

GT and GT Pro Models: Equipped with high-quality Marzocchi™ suspension, these models offer adjustable compression and rebound damping. They feature 180mm fork travel and 170mm rear wheel travel, fine-tuned for excellent road handling and comfort.

Rally Pro Model: This variant is outfitted with Showa™ suspension, providing a generous 240mm front and 230mm rear wheel travel. It’s designed for riders who push the limits on all roads and off-road terrains.

Braking System

All three new Tiger 900 models come with Brembo Stylema™ Monobloc brakes. These high-performance brakes ensure powerful, smooth, and controlled stopping power – an essential feature for both city rides and off-road adventures. This integration with the optimized cornering ABS system significantly reduces stopping distances and improves stability under hard braking.

Transmission

Triumph’s Slip and Assist clutch system is standard across the range, offering a light clutch lever action and enhancing rear wheel control. The Pro models also feature the Triumph Shift Assist system for seamless gear changes, elevating the riding experience to new levels of smoothness.

Design and Aesthetics

Bodywork and Stance

The 2024 Tiger 900 range sports an aggressive, adventure-focused stance, revamped with cleaner, more integrated bodywork. The design flows seamlessly from the beak through the cockpit and into the side panels, portraying a sense of motion and purpose even when stationary.

Paint Schemes and Graphics

The GT and GT Pro models are available in Snowdonia White, with premium options like Graphite and Sapphire Black, and Carnival Red and Sapphire Black.

The Rally Pro model offers Carbon Black and Sapphire Black, with additional options like Ash Grey and Intense Orange or Matt Khaki Green and Matt Phantom Black.
